November Fun at Delaware Court

It’s been a great November so far at Delaware Court! We welcomed fall with fun arts and crafts last month and got spooky for Halloween by creating googly-eyed ghosts! As we dive deeper into the season, our residents must stay happy and healthy. So, we’ll keep the ball rolling with the fun!

That shouldn’t be too difficult a task, as we’re getting closer to a favorite holiday: Thanksgiving!

And boy, do we have a lot to be thankful for! This season’s blessings are overflowing, from delicious, nutritious meals to fun games with friends and caring and supportive staff.

One way we’re taking care of our residents this month is through our beauty services. This includes nail painting with the ladies and barber cuts for our men and women! Our residents appreciate these activities as they improve their confidence and self-esteem.

We also value our residents’ by creating healthy meals for them! Our dietary staff members professionally plan a variety of meals at Delaware Court. Residents always have options like green beans, carrots, mushrooms, and some good proteins like chicken breasts and ham. This variety ensures there will always be something hearty for everyone.

Staying social is also an essential part of our health! That’s why we’ve been continuing community leisure time this November with regular board games, bingo, and table games with our friends! Who doesn’t love a game of table bowling?

Our Coloring Club meetings at Delaware Court also boost our residents’ moods! Coloring helps promote creativity and relaxation, so it can be an excellent time for our loved ones to wind down and enjoy their day.

We can’t wait for upcoming December activities to come here in Delaware. Check out our newsletter to find out what we’ll be up to, or see our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for photos and more!
